About the PATH Lab
The PATH Lab studies psychedelic-assisted therapy as an intervention for the treatment of mental health concerns and the enhancement of well-being. Our research examines therapeutic outcomes, safety, and the psychological and psychotherapeutic processes that shape change in both controlled trials and real-world clinical settings.
We have specific interests in the following questions:
- Does psychedelic-assisted therapy work and is it safe?
- How does psychedelic-assisted therapy work?
- For whom does psychedelic-assisted therapy work?
Together, the PATH Lab's work aims to clarify how and for whom psychedelic-assisted therapy is most effective and safe, with the goal of minimizing harm and optimizing therapeutic benefit as these interventions are delivered in practice.
